Today’s youth face stress, social pressure, academic demands, and constant stimulation. BBYWC partners with schools and youth-serving organizations to offer age-appropriate wellness programming that helps young people build lifelong tools for self-regulation and resilience.

Youth programs may include:

  • Mindful movement and beginner-friendly yoga

  • Breathwork for stress and emotional regulation

  • Mindfulness practices for focus and calm

  • Confidence-building and body awareness

  • Social-emotional learning (SEL)-aligned sessions

  • Workshops for athletes (mobility, recovery, breath training)

  • Small groups, after-school series, or in-class programming

Ideal partners: Schools, PTAs/PTOs, after-school programs, youth sports organizations, mentoring programs, libraries, summer camps, community centers, and nonprofits.

Senior Wellness & Movement Initiatives

Mobility, balance, breath, and community—at any age.

BBYWC partners with senior centers, assisted living communities, and organizations serving older adults to provide safe, accessible movement that supports independence and quality of life. Our senior-friendly approach emphasizes functional strength, balance, flexibility, and calm—without intimidation and without pressure.

 

Senior programs may include:

  • Chair yoga and gentle yoga (seated and standing options)

  • Balance and fall-prevention focused movement

  • Breathwork for relaxation and stress relief

  • Mobility and joint-friendly stretching

  • Mindfulness for sleep support and emotional well-being

  • Workshops and multi-week series (beginner, pain-aware, posture, breath basics)

 

Ideal partners: Senior centers, assisted living communities, adult day programs, community health organizations, faith communities, and local nonprofits.

 

Outcomes we aim to support:

Community Adult Access Initiative

Wellness should not be a luxury.

BBYWC is committed to expanding access to yoga and wellness for adults who may not readily have access—including individuals and families impacted by financial constraints, limited transportation, demanding schedules, lack of childcare, or limited wellness offerings in their neighborhood.

Through partnerships, we bring welcoming programming to community spaces and work with partners to create options such as:

  • Free or low-cost community classes

  • Workplace/community-site sessions

  • Pop-up classes and seasonal wellness events

  • Programs hosted at community centers, libraries, and nonprofit facilities
